Jubilee Park…an inspiration for us all
Walt Humann would not like the title of this blog. He is a humble man. The only person I could compare him to would be Moses. He has worked tirelessly for years to give a few city blocks back to the people of South Dallas.
With the help of numerous friends,President George W. Bush,T.Boone Pickens,Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, and St. Michael’s Church his dream is becoming a reality. Notice that I say “becoming.” In his mind, the work is never done. It is an honor to know Walt and to have shared in a small way his vision for helping people in our city.
