“Everything must be accurate in terms of scale.” That was the goal of this detailed project. All the animals had to be realistic in terms of size, and color. Nothing “cartoonish” would be acceptable.
When you look at the photos, please note that the scale is accurate. The lizzard is just that small and the whiskers on the raccoon are proportional to a real raccoon.
OK, no one actually measured the raccoons whiskers, but I think you get the point.
On top of all the detail, the material of choice was linoleum. If you have ever worked with linoleum, you understand the challenges that accompany extreme detail and linoleum….mission accomplished!
